Social Media Manager

We are seeking a candidate with 3+ years’ experience working with multiple brands spanning different industries in the social media marketing space. We’re looking for a highly organized, strong communicator, client-facing, rock-star that bleeds social media marketing. You should have several examples of campaigns you have created along with statistics regarding how well the campaign worked. You will also be responsible for managing, training, and motivating a team dedicated to social media marketing.


Candidate will oversee Social Media campaigns which include but are not limited to: research, campaign & content creation, execution, monitoring and reporting. You will also create public relations opportunities for the company relating to new business, news and successes with the goal of the company being known as a resource and influencer in the online marketing field.

Key Responsibilities:

Work directly with clients to create a social media strategy that collaborates with marketing, PR and advertising campaigns.

Research top influencers, competitors, and trends in clients' industries.

Create timely and engaging content optimized for platform used and intended audience.

Monitor sites for customer service opportunities and initiate conversations on behalf of the client.

Analyze and report social media actions on a monthly basis for successes and new opportunities.

Manage social media team members' (includes interns) responsibilities, conduct team meetings, advise on projects, and motivate team members.

Continue to refine and define our social marketing process.

Required Skills:

Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.

Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media. (Give links to profiles as examples).

Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.

In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.

Digital Marketing Intern

We are looking for an enthusiastic, fast-learning digital marketing intern to join our growing team helping our clients achieve great results through their websites.


You should be passionate about all things digital, willing to get stuck in and looking for a future career in PR & marketing or the event management industry. Whilst any marketing or event management experience would be a plus, we don’t expect you to be a marketing guru on arrival. As the Client Service Manager you will be responsible for the client management, relationship building, delivering exceptional performance and insights to clients. The Client Services Manager will be expected to combine knowledge of PR and marketing strategy with an ability to consult and advise Abel & Fernandes’ clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures

Oversee the achievement and maintenance of agreed customer service levels and standards.

Plan, prioritize and delegate work tasks to ensure proper functioning of the department.

Liaise with company management to support and implement growth strategies.

Lead in the creation of proposals for incoming RFPs by creating marketing plans to meet client objectives.

Clearly communicate clients' goals and represent their interests to internal teams.

Required Skills:

Bachelor’ s degree, preferably marketing or business related.

Strong command of digital marketing and understanding of its unique role amongst overall marketing landscape.

Outstanding organisational ability, critical thinking skills and attention to detail.

Experience and comfort with quantitative analysis of online marketing results – solid understanding of reporting and CRM systems.

Junior Graphic Designer

The Junior Graphic Designer collaborates with the creative team to execute a variety of marketing and communications projects, both for clients and for internal use. The role relies on the ability to visually communicate Abel & Fernandes and client brands across all projects and initiatives while maintaining a positive attitude and energy.


This role’s primary function is to execute the production of design under the guidance of the senior creative management team. The Junior Graphic Designer has strong graphic design and time management skills with a collaborative mindset to be able to support all internal teams with various design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize, design, and refine Abel & Fernandes and client creative projects including brand and corporate identity, packaging, marketing collateral, websites, digital ads, social media, sales presentations, and marketing support tools.

Gain an intimate knowledge of Abel & Fernandes' full range of services and work with past and current clients.

Collaborate with internal teams to maintain design consistency across all channels.

Work with team members to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables to meet the needs of the team.

Research and keep abreast of emerging design trends and practices.

Required Skills:

Minimum 1-2 years graphic design experience at an agency.

A solid knowledge of the graphic design process including design and typography, production procedures, printing and photography, and digital file preparation.

Must be self-motivated and independent and able to work well with senior management and staff clients

Ability to get results through proven creativity, technical skill, relentless organisation, uncompromising integrity, effective communication, and keen eye for visual detail.

Proficiency with standard design software including Adobe Creative Suite.

Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook).
